Disney Pixar’s “UP” to be screened in aid of the CAA
On November 19th the Cork Association for Autism (CAA), in collaboration with the Gate Cinema Midleton, will bring you a screening of the critically acclaimed, Academy Award winning Disney/Pixar 2009 film, ‘UP’.
The animated film won international praise upon its release for its heart-warming storyline and resonance with all the audiences, young and old alike. Families, friends and supporters of the CAA are invited to come along on Sunday September 19th for an extra special screening of the movie at Midleton’s Gate Cinema at 10.30am. All funds raised from ticket sales to the Sunday Movie Matinee will go directly to the Cork Association for Autism.
Roisin Moriarty of the Gate Cinema in Midleton said at the event launch recently: “”The Gate Cinema Midleton are delighted to be supporting a fantastic local charity with this event. The Cork Association for Autism do fantastic work all over Cork and in particular in our own East Cork community, it is fantastic to have the opportunity to support their work. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Cinema on Sunday November 19th for a fantastic family film, Disney Pixar’s ‘UP’. We hope all enjoy their Sunday Movie Matinee while supporting this fantastic cause.”
