Charity Fashion Show
in aid of the Cork Association for Autism
7.30pm 24th August 2012
at
BallySeedy Home & Garden Centre
A variety of top class fashion retailers will be presenting a Fashion Show in aid of the Cork Association for Autism on Friday 24th August 2012.
Watch professional models strut down the catwalk in beautiful garments provided by shops such as Meadows & Byrne, Saville’s Menswear, Fran & Jane, The Dress Bar, Miss Daisy Blue Vintage as well as designs from bespoke Munster based designers – there will be something to suit all tastes.
There will be live music provided by Edge of Heaven, a food and wine reception catered by Jacobs and the Wine Buff respectively.
It is also a great opportunity to donate to a very worthy cause – The Cork Association for Autism (CAA). The CAA was founded in 1978 by a group of parents in Cork with autistic children. They were frustrated by the lack of supports for their children and sought to rectify the situation. The CAA has been providing residential supports to adults with Autism since 1991.
What the CAA can promise is a commitment to ensure that all people with Autism are provided with an Autism Specific support or service that will enhance their lives, develop their potential and protect their entitlements to participate in the development of Society in accordance with their individual capacity and dignity as human beings.
The show will commence at 7:30pm in Ballyseedy Home & Garden centre. The compere for the night will be the wonderful Mr Gerald Kean, who is known for his own high fashion tastes and is also Patron for the Cork Association for Autism. There will also be a raffle on the night with various prizes up for grabs, including best dressed lady and gentleman.
The tickets are €50 per person (special offer tickets on Facebook!) For reservations please contact Ms Louise O’Sullivan or Mr Daniel Scannell on 021 4271808 or 086 4163816.
